Citizen services at the click of a button
Clark County, Nevada, is not your usual government organization. The organization was one year into a three-year mobility plan when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, forcing employees to pivot to remote working and impacting citizen services. Thanks to its strong partnership with VMware and Dell, Clark County was able to react immediately to offer citizens virtual access to crucial services such as rent support, child welfare, and juvenile justice. A long-time VMware customer, it is utilizing VMware Workspace ONE, VMware Cloud on AWS, VMware Horizon, VMware vSAN and NSX to create a joined-up approach to digitization. Now, Clark County boasts developments such as a centralized citizen portal, virtual meetings, and a more robust infrastructure.
